2. Scope
The Systems Manager – Infrastructure & Compliance is responsible for the overall governance, design, implementation, and lifecycle management of core hospitality platforms across the business portfolio.
Role Purpose: Ensure operational systems are deployed according to enterprise standards, seamlessly integrated with core infrastructure, and maintained in a secure, compliant, and scalable environment.
Position Level: Middle Management / Seasoned Professional.
Function: Centralized Services – Hospitality Division.
Line Manager: Head of Hospitality.
Key Interface: Acts as the primary bridge between Hospitality Operations and the Central IT/Computer Services Division to ensure system architecture supports multi-property performance.
Focus Area: Focuses on system engineering, governance, and project implementation, while day-to-day operational system usage remains within property operations.
3. Key Responsibilities
Systems Strategy & Implementation
Lead the implementation, proper configuration, and integration of core hospitality platforms (including PMS, POS, and operational systems).
Develop and roll out standardized system deployment frameworks across all properties.
Oversee major system upgrades, migrations, and tech alignment with operational requirements.
Vendor & Project Management
Manage hospitality system vendors, coordinate implementation partners, and monitor service delivery.
Support capital technology projects, ensuring technical outcomes meet defined business requirements.
Systems Governance & Standards
Establish and maintain system governance frameworks in line with enterprise IT architecture.
Maintain system architecture documentation, lifecycle planning, and technology risk management practices.
Compliance & Security Alignment
Ensure operational platforms comply with corporate cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain continuous audit readiness across all system environments.
Partner with Central IT to mitigate security risks and ensure third-party vendors meet strict security protocols.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
Identify ongoing opportunities to enhance system performance, platform integration, and scalability.
Drive automation and innovation initiatives to streamline operations.
4. Qualifications & Experiences
Education & Certifications
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Relevant Experience
Seniority: 8–10 years of proven experience managing enterprise systems.
Multi-Site Rollouts: Demonstrated experience with multi-property or multi-site system implementations.
Vendor & Integration: Track record of managing technology vendors and orchestrating complex system integrations.
Domain Focus: Exposure to hospitality platforms (or supporting/implementing technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Shiji, PMS/POS, or similar enterprise hospitality tools).
